Active
play is characterized as a creative resource, both in the physical sense
(sensory, motor, muscular and coordination), and in the mental, with a social
and affective value, contributes to the formation of cooperative habits.
Through play, children learn by doing and create their own learning.
So,
we want to show you some of the games that we like the most in each class and
so you can see how well we have fun and how we learn.
In the class of the Mice we have
worked two stories interactively, through puppets. The first story is about a
frog that sings different sounds on a spring night. And the second story is
about a little mouse that feels as brave as a lion and noisy as an elephant.
These are the stories...
Look how fun we had with the puppets!
In the class of Bunnies we played
with a surprise box. Inside it were everyday objects like; nappy, cologne, hair
brush, cream, dummy and wipes. The goal is for children to learn the names of
the objects we use on a day-to-day in a fun way.
The Snails class
has learned the colours in a very funny and dynamic way. For this we are using
a box with coloured holes to put each ball in the correct colour. We encourage
you to do it at home, it is very easy to do and very fun!
The squirrel class
loves the game of animals. It is a very active and participative game in which
the children throw a dice with animals on each side and according to the face
of the die that comes out, you have to move as the animal does.
READY? GO!
A SQUIRREL…
CLIMB
LIKE A SQUIRREL
LET’S DO IT AGAIN!
SLEEP LIKE A KOALA
AND
NOW IT’S AN ELEPHANT
SWING
LIKE AN ELEPHANT
AND...
AGAIN... SLEEP LIKE A KOALA
¡¡WE HOPE YOU LIKE IT. SEE YOU SOON!!
